PainStudy.com.au presents the findings from a three year study of users of mobile, Sustained Mobile acupunture-like TENS therapy (al-TENS SMT).

A survey was conducted in six parts via a mailout over the period from January 2003 to July 2006. Users of mobile SMT therapy were requested to answer 18 questions, in which they recorded their responses in how they had self-managed their pain caused by arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). 93 percent had been suffering chronic pain more than 3 months prior to applying SMT.
Further surveys have been added in 2007 and the entire survey is now undergoing analysis by Professor Val Robertson from the University of Newcastle.
